Ken Downie
Ken is a photographer and writer with a background in magazines, hospitality, education, museums and construction. As a photographer, he specialises in portraiture, architecture, food, travel, industrial and documentary photography.
His photographic work has featured in the public collections of the National Library and Te Papa; he’s also had exhibitions in galleries throughout the country, and his photographs and stories have been published in New Zealand and overseas.
Adrian Malloch
Adrian is an editorial and commercial photographer specialising in documentary photography for clients such as The Guardian Media Group, New Zealand Geographic, The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, businesses, corporates and agencies as well as taking on a variety of privately commissioned documentary projects.
After an extensive career as an award-winning news photojournalist Adrian came to Auckland in 2004 to teach photojournalism at AUT. He established himself as an independent photographer with regular commissions for Metro, North & South, The Listener, Kia Ora and other magazines. He continues to teach and mentor professional and aspiring photographers alongside his photography practice.
Nicola Edmonds
Nicola Edmonds is a photographer and occasional writer. Her editorial work has been regularly featured in publications throughout New Zealand and Australia, with photographic subjects ranging from travel and lifestyle, cuisine and architecture to current affairs and feature profiles.
Along with frequent commissions for commercial clients, Nicola also collaborates with artists, performers and architects and has photographed recipe books for two of the many chefs she has met on her travels throughout the world.
